Such variation answers to several laws,
directly dependant of the composition
of sensor.
Two kinds of PTC exist:
Metal PTC, or RTD's, made of pure metal
such as Platinium, Nickel, Copper, or of
metal alloys, or of Silicium (Silicon)
also named Silistors.
These sensors have a practically linear
RT Curve. See the chapter on
Platnium/Nickel/Silistances.
No linear PTC are made of metal oxides,
which are used either for protection
against over temperature, or as self
regulated heating elements.
